The Hoge Kempen National Park is made up of more than 12,742 hectares of managed and protected forest and heathland. The unspoilt nature reserve stretches across the municipalities of Dilsen-Stokkem, Maasmechelen, Zutendaal, Lanaken, Genk, and As, Bilzen, Bree, Maaseik en Oudsbergen.
The six entrance gates for the Hoge Kempen National Park each form the perfect departure
point for your adventure. Although each of the six gates are welcoming and help you on your
way into the National Park, they are all very different. Each gate gives you a different view of
