Negenoord nature reserve

The Negenoord-Kerkeweerd nature reserve reveals the power and value of nature. This
area was mined for many years. Now it isone of the many nature reserves that have
been newly created and returned to nature along both the Belgian and Dutch sides of
the Maasvallei area. The Konik horses and Galloway cattle manage the land and help you
enjoy a natural area abundant in flowers and herbs. And don’t forget to visit the observation
tower. This tower is located in the centre of the walking area and treats visitors to a stunning
view across the Maasvallei River Park.
